01 · Why technical visualization

Your technology is complex. The explanation shouldn't be.

Technical products often contain the most important information beneath the surface.

Submicron identifies what the audience needs to understand, develops the visual direction, and coordinates the specialist production required to make that information visible.

Accelerator Package on Board

A study of a high-performance accelerator package seated on a dense circuit board. Light and camera are used to separate the package lid and edge from the components around it, so the eye reads the hierarchy of the board before any detail.

04 · How it works

From technical concept to finished visual

Submicron leads the understanding, the visual direction, and the coordination. Production is carried out by specialist teams matched to each project.

  1. 01

    Understand

Study the technology, product, documentation, CAD, and communication objective.

  2. 02

    Identify

Determine what the audience needs to see and where visualization can create value.

  3. 03

    Develop

Shape the visual concept, story, and direction.

  4. 04

    Match

Select specialist production capability appropriate to the project.

  5. 05

    Produce

Coordinate specialist production through the defined creative and technical brief.

  6. 06

    Deliver

Review, refine, and deliver the final visual assets.

05 · Industries

Built for technology that is hard to show

Physical technologies where the part that matters is too small, too fast, too hidden, or too abstract to photograph.

  • I/01

    Semiconductors

Package architecture, interconnect, and process steps too small to photograph.

  • I/02

    Photonics

Light paths through waveguides, couplers, and co-packaged optics.

  • I/03

    Robotics

Actuators, transmissions, and the motion inside a joint.

  • I/04

    Aerospace

Assemblies, deployment sequences, and systems that work out of sight.

  • I/05

    Energy

Cell, stack, and module architecture, with the flow and thermal paths through them.

  • I/06

    Advanced Hardware

Dense assemblies where the value sits beneath the enclosure.

  • I/07

    Quantum

Cryogenic stages, control wiring, and device packaging.

  • I/08

    Industrial Technology

Machines, process lines, and precision mechanisms.

06 · Philosophy

Precision is the aesthetic.

  1. P/01

    Accuracy before atmosphere

Every visual starts from the engineering: the documentation, the CAD, and the people who built it. Light and camera serve the explanation.

  2. P/02

    Show the structure

Exploded views, sections, and sequences reveal what a product photograph cannot.

  3. P/03

    One idea per frame

Each shot carries one thing the audience needs to understand, in the order they need it.

  4. P/04

    Restraint reads as credibility

No invented effects. Materials and light behave the way they do in the real world, because engineers will notice when they don't.

07 · About

Submicron Studio is founded by Emmanuel Jude and focuses on developing and coordinating technical visualization projects for complex technology companies.

Submicron leads the technical understanding, visual direction, and project coordination, and is the single point of contact from first conversation to final delivery. Production is carried out by specialist teams selected for each project.
